The gameplay is intuitive and suitable for all ages. You flip two cards one after another. If you find a pair, they stay face up. If not, memorize their positions well! The goal is to clear the entire board with as few moves as possible. Whether you want to play against the clock or train in a relaxed way is entirely up to your choice of game mode.
In the Game Setup area at the top, you can customize the game mode and difficulty level. We currently offer three main modes that you can switch between at any time: Quick Challenge: Perfect for a quick mental spark. You play through 5 levels with increasing difficulty. For Adults: Here, you can customize the board size yourself - from small grids for warming up to massive 15x15 boards for true pros. Learn more about the mode for adults. For Seniors: This mode features visually larger cards, a reduced flip-back speed, and a focus on relaxation. Go directly to Senior Mode.
True memory pros don't just rely on luck. To get better, keep the following tips in mind during your next session: Set Anchor Points: Focus on the four corners first. Once you know what's there, you have fixed points of orientation on the grid. Structured Revealing: Move row by row instead of clicking wildly across the board. This prevents you from checking the same cards twice when you should already know their position. The 2-Second Rule: Make full use of the time a non-matching pair stays open. Actively memorize both positions before they flip back. Visualization & Language: Try to give the motifs or color schemes a name and say it briefly (out loud or in your head). "Blue fish, bottom right." Combining visual and auditory cues anchors the information deeper.
